Nowadays, knowledge of foreign languages and cultures looks to be a must. At our TEQUESTA preschools and daycares, children have natural contact with foreign language from the age of 1.
At our establishments, teachers communicate mainly in English and next comes Polish. They also speak many other languages, which is why every child, regardless of their origin or spoken language, will be offered understanding and a wholehearted welcome! The original program of TEQUESTA preschools is designed so that learning English comes naturally. What‘s most important in making kids bilingual is making sure both sides of the coin are developed in harmony, i.e. emphasizing the positives of the two languages and cultures, and especially, the wellbeing of kids and respectful attitude towards their needs need to be prioritized.
At our preschool, teaching methods exploit children's natural desire to learn and explore the world. This approach means that while engaging in their learning, at the same time kids have great fun and enjoyment.
All classes and activities, such as mathematics, natural, experimental, gymnastics and artistic are run in the bilingual Polish-English formula. In each class, starting with daycare - there is a Native English speaker and a teacher of Polish language assigned to a given group.
At TEQUESTA, the level of English is very high - our three-year-olds freely communicate in English. They can speak using full sentences, they can order dinner in a restaurant during a foreign holiday or make an interesting acquaintance with children from different parts of the world.
At TEQUESTA, we emphasize the adherence to such values as respect, tolerance and acceptance of other human being regardless of their sex, skin color, origin, creed or nationality. We teach to relate to another human being with due respect. The multicultural origin of our kids and educators alike is conducive to creating a friendly atmosphere, full of acceptance for everyone. At our establishments, both children and parents make contacts that frequently result in lasting friendships and they succeed in finding their own social groups.
The most important thing for us is that, thanks to our educators, children genuinely become the Citizens of the World with an open minded attitude and plenty of self-confidence. That’s why at our TEQUESTA preschools and daycares, children have contact on a daily basis with their peers and educators representing different cultures.
