Teaching young children a second language is beneficial in many ways.

Why would we want young children to learn a second language while they are focused on learning their primary one? It seems that this would be learning overload when they are at the early stage of learning how to be friends, count, play on the playground and so much more. However, this is a time in our lives when acquiring a second language comes very naturally.

Between the ages 0-3, the brains of young children are uniquely suited to learn a second language as the brain is in its most flexible stage. In fact, bilingually exposed infants excelled in detecting a switch in language as early as 6 months old. They can learn a second language as easy as they learn to walk and learn their primary language. Learning a second language does not negatively impact the child’s native language.

Learning a second language boosts problem-solving, critical-thinking, and listening skills in addition to improving memory, concentration, and the ability to multitask. Children proficient in other languages also show signs of enhanced creativity and mental flexibility.

That is why here at Tequesta Bialoleka, we are not teaching only one language. Aside from our native language, we also include English and Spanish into our curriculum. We have qualified teachers that makes their teaching strategy easy to understand by the students. They are trained on how to teach English without compromising the native language.

At Tequesta Bialoleka, you don’t have to worry about what tomorrow brings – because here in our school we make sure your child is ready for it. Through our innovative learning philosophy and teaching strategies, your child is transformed into the best version of his future self.
